Where I Work

by Stacie Bloomfield / 8 comments

My office. I've been spending the better portions of my days here. Sewing. Printing. Packaging. Lord knows I need a real office chair with the amount of sitting I've been doing!

The office is getting cozier. I added this cute needlework and changed up the frame montage above the couch.

I waited and waited on these pretty ruffle curtains to go on sale from Urban Outfitters and snagged them up when they dropped to $9 each! Love them. They definitely add to the granny chic thing I have going on :)

I sew everything on my grandma's old singer. I know I should look into purchasing a new one. I got this machine serviced last year and it about cost as much as a new machine would cost. But I still like this old gal! She is sturdy, sews a straight line, and I have been using it since I was about 12.

Is there a room in your house that you spend most of your time in?

Thanks for posting and sharing your creative space. It’s always so nice to look into the creative world of someone else. It’s very inspiring and you never know when you’ll find a new storage or organizing tip…or just a simple style tip! _

I have a post on my old blog showing my space…been meaning to do an updated post on my current blog. Maybe in the new year! http://simplyhandmadebylana.blogdrive.com/archive/cm-12_cy-2011_m-12_d-29_y-2011_o-10.html

Loved seeing your studio Stacie. I recently received the owl calendar I bought from your Etsy site. I LOVE IT! I will have it posted in my art studio this year and it will make me smile.
