trip time: austin, texas

by Stacie Bloomfield / 6 comments

I am going on a little vacation to Austin, Texas soon and could really use some advice from YOU! Tell me the best places to eat, the best places for live music, best shopping, etc... EVERYTHING!

I am certain that we will catch some live music, go to a few parks and museums, and eat lots of food, but I would really appreciate your suggestions!

Thanks,

Stacie

Oh I LOVE Austin! Ilived there a few years back & our family hopes to move back someday.
I worked at the Texas State History Museum so, of course, I suggest that as a highlight! :)
Don’t forget to stop on the Congress Bridge at dusk to see the bats at flight. It’s such a cool sight!
Amy’s I’ve Cream is great to cool off from the warm heat.
For inexpensive shopping, I love Goodie Two Shoes on S. Congress. I bought lots of shoes & accessories from there!
Really, anything down South Congress (“SoCo”) is worth checking out!
    Oh, I’m so jealous!!
