I thank you for the free download of a cat pillow I plan to put it on my grown sons bed. I like the pattern because you could use pink rose pattern material for a girl or black corduroy for a guy. It will go for either type person. He has a cat patterned blanket and it will go well. I like the picture you have because it shows material that reminds you of real cats but you may want to try girly patchwork with lace on the seams to show how versatile the pattern could be if the fabric was heavy weight it would probably stand up or have a stiffer look on the bed or sofa.
