Blue Cornflowers For A Softer Kitchen

Blue cornflowers are the wildflower that turns up along fence lines and country roads without anybody planting them, and we hand drew a whole gathering of them for this Tea Towel Club design. The blue is the good kind, the sort that makes an ordinary kitchen feel like somebody actually thought about it.

The cotton does the rest of the talking. Flour sack is lightweight and remarkably absorbent, so it dries glassware without streaks, handles a full drying rack, and comes out of the wash softer than it went in. Use it over rising dough, under warm bread, or slung on your shoulder while you cook. It is a happy little gift for the wildflower person, the friend who presses blooms in books, or the neighbor who brings you the good tomatoes every August!
