Monarchs travel thousands of miles on wings that weigh almost nothing, which has to be one of the great unlikely facts of the natural world. This design is our small tribute to them, monarch butterflies caught mid journey across soft cotton.
On the practical side, this is a towel you will genuinely wear out. Flour sack cotton is lightweight and absorbent, drying glassware without lint and getting softer with each wash. It covers dough while it rises, lines a basket for warm rolls, and works as the hand towel on your oven handle.
