Red poinsettias and sprigs of pine, hand-illustrated and quilted into a tree skirt that finally makes the bottom of your tree as good looking as the top. The scalloped edge and its trim give it that heirloom quality, like something handed down rather than bought, and the design runs on both sides so you can flip it whenever you want the room to feel a little different.
It is built to actually live under a tree. Quilted cotton has the weight to lie flat on a rug instead of creeping up the trunk, the bow ties keep it closed neatly around the stand, and 54 inches across is generous enough to hide the water reservoir, catch the dropped needles, and still leave room for the pile that turns up on Christmas Eve. Give it to a first apartment, to newlyweds, or to anyone whose tree has been standing on a folded bedsheet for years!
